I have dreamed of a United Earth where the UN has the backing and the muscle of most countries. When a tyrant like Saddam arises, the UN steps in and takes care of the problem. With the weight of the world behind them, no tyrant could hold out. This UN has a plan in place on how to go in and set up a government so the country in question can quickly get back on their feet. This countries neighbors, if not part of the UN, will be pressured to corporate, however, most would probably be members of the UN and aid in the reconstruction.

In this UN, the United States does not carry the weight of the organization. Hundreds of countries will share in the responsibilities. Blind eyes will not be turned.

The goal of this UN is to have all the world’s countries and people under its protected umbrella. ***

But how can we make it happen?

Right now, the United States can only do so much. There are many troubled areas of the Earth, like in Africa, where innocent people are being murdered by those in charge. This has to stop, and only a United Earth would have the muscle to do it. The United States can not do it alone.

***And then, once the UN reaches this goal, we can work together as a planet to settle Mars and other worlds.
