I was speaking of the UN I would like to see, not the one that is currently there.
Unless something changes, Africa is screwed. America does not have what it takes to bring peace to those trouble areas. We have the military to do it, but it would cost far too many lives- far more than we see in Iraq. We don’t have the stomach for that. The only way I could see it happening if that the American people accepted up front it was going to cost many lives and the media pulled behind it.
