Blush- I wish.

Partly nude? Here in the hot south, the less cloths the better. :)

Thanks for the stud comment. I never thought I was a stud back then. In fact, I had a pretty low self esteem when it came to my appearance and girls. I always thought girls wanted Tall, Dark and Handsome. I was not tall, dark and thought I was average looking. It was really my height that I was self conscious of. Perhaps it was a girl I dated that said “I really like you, but you are not tall enough for me. I like taller guys.” That is exactly what she said because it was burned in my brain. If I could go back in time, I would be slapping some sense into myself.

And I had this crazy idea that any girl I was attracted to couldn’t possibly be attracted to me. And because of that I lost out on a possible relationship when I found out a girl I liked was also attracted to me. Unfortunately, she was moving.

Back before the internet was around, we had to actually meet and talk to girls, and I was very girl shy. Looking back, I realize there were several girls who were hitting on me, I just didn’t see it at the time. I never was very good at reading you girls, but that is true of most of us guys. Only after being married for 13 years am I finally understanding you women. :)

As far as eating junk food and staying thin. Back then my metabolism was still in high gear. I could never gain weight no matter how hard I tried. It made it hard to gain muscle weight, and I did work out a lot. That was frustrating- not being able to gain much muscle weight

I am about 25 pounds heavier now. About half of that is muscle and the other half fat, so I could stand to loose about 10-15 pounds right now. I have not been to the gym in a couple of years because I just don’t have the time right now. I do get a lot of exercise working in the yard. My push mower is a push mower- no drive.

When I was working in downtown Houston, I worked out at the gym on my lunch breaks, but there is no gym near my current job. I am trying to get a better paying job back in downtown. If that happens, I’ll join a gym again. I miss having all that energy I used to have when I worked out almost every day.
