I have a 66 year old aunt that, in her younger years, cornered the market on stress. She looks 40...and I hope I have inherited that gene!

I think that genetics, by and large are the ONLY determining factors as to how we age. Oprah quips, "Blacks don't crack"....and she is right. Black people have incredible skin, as do Asians. Native Americans seem to age early, and have deep creviced faces. I think sleep...has more of a regenerative quality than people give it credit for.. [when I do not get enough sleep, my thinking capabilities are so diminished that I am stressed just because I am tired and I am not able to process thoughts in a reasonable manner.]
People would say that having a positive attitude helps. ..only because one exudes an energy that surrounds them, and a smile is just pleasant to see.
We are wonderful machines, but we come pre-wired....
