I never tried to look like him. In High School everyone was telling me I look like Alex P. Keaton but I had no idea who they were talking about. My parents controlled our one TV and my mom watched Magnum PI, so I didn’t even see Family Ties until I went off to college.

When Back to the future came out everyone called me Marty. At first it was okay, but after a while I got tired of it. Every day it was like, “Hey, you know who you look like.” I even got asked for his autograph several times. I wanted to say, I am not him, I am myself. But I got over that and was okay with it again.

Overall it was fun. Now I only hear “Hey, you know who you look like” a couple of times a year.

My weirdest experience was (In college) when I dated this girl who had pictures of Fox all over her wall, and while we were making out, she called me Michael. “I am out of here.”

As for robbing the cradle, back then I would have loved an older sexy women showing me the ropes. I was still pretty innocent at the time :)
