I know of what you speak.
I've encountered it for the past 30 years.
Experience helps....and an open mind.
Right now I'm working with a young medium (I have no other words to describe him) that can manipulate matter and photograph it. I've been standing next to him when he does this. What he does defies all rational explanations and physics. If I didn't see him do it, while he's explaining the process; I would have no frame of reference to put it to.

I shake my head in disbelief but KNOW everyone is so far back into their boxes, that some people (when viewing his photos) would get extremely upset. I have started to introduce his photos to the mainstream doctors and scientists. Tonight he shot over 100 photos, some of them with me and my friends that are waay far out of the box (make crop circles look like child's play). LOL
If didn't know him better or seen him do it several times, I would dismiss it as impossible, when in fact......our 3-D reality can be easily manipulated. Everything is energy and our thoughts are more powerful than we think.

(And to think I'm only half way through my node measurements.)
