Agreed, Moore went too far... and he needs to apologize

It took me 2 days to get my broken arm fixed when I was hit by a truck.... but that was my own damn fault- I simply couldnt believe that I had a broken bone.... I could have simply let the paramedics that showed up minutes after the incident take me to the hospital- and I would have been treated in a couple of hours...but I refused treatment... at the time I just thought I had a bad bruise....

When it became clear that it was more than a bruise I could have gone to the emergency room, and again been put in a cast and given pain medicine in a few hours- instead, I went to work. I finally called a doctor that a co-worker recommended and made an appointment.... I was treated the next day.

I have seen our medical system fail, and I have seen it perform miracles... to claim that Cuba's system is some paragon of virtue compared to the USA system is simply a lie... I can think of many examples where our system has saved the life of a close family member. I will agree that there does need to be some sort of health insurance for everyone- it simply isnt right that one accident can destroy a family financially for life.

Michael Moore is too focussed on being provocative, and the truth suffers as a result- there was a video on youtube in response to 'Sicko' made by a cuban-american that filmed his father, dying of cancer, in a typical hospital in cuba- it was horrible, I cant find it at the moment....

The USA has the best doctors and hospitals in the world- we need to work on making sure that ALL of us have access to that.
