The push for nationalized health care is not about health care any more than the global warming flap is about the environment.
It's about seizing another huge chunk of power for the State. As far as they're concerned, whether it delivers the goods or not is irrelevant.
I've gone over the numbers many times, as well as the resulting market forces, the issues for a country ten times the size of other nations with such systems, and the inevitable routes to failure. I've gone over the records in other nations, their increasing costs, their collapsing systems, and all the rest. I've gone over how other nations bask in the endless technology and medicine generated by the U.S. at our own cost. These nations buy it off the shelf, and then hoot at us for what we spend on medicine.
I'm really not inspired to go through all of it again.
