So long as you accept one fact
That people will always be people. If not during the founding generation,
then the next ones will likely have a few that don't want to follow the crowd.
Such colonies better have an ethical safety valve, perhaps even a way
for the "rebels" to found their own new world, or life back on Earth will
seem like a paradise by comparison aboard the colony.
