Stop playing the talking points. What Clinton lied about should never have reached the legal system in which he lied. That standard would never have been placed on any other citizen or given that kind of weight. Were I guilty of infidelity and asked in an extremely public arena about my dalliances, I'd lie too. I can't think of many men who wouldn't.
The disbarment was merely to maintain the credibility of the bar association not because they truly believed he'd done anything heinous. Most I've heard from in the legal community saw the whole thing for the sham it was.
