What does Mr. Anderton's gobbledygook have to do with monopoles and gravity?

And your predictions don't make for good tests. Neither of them is a provable proposition. Or maybe you are smart enough to design a test to prove/disprove the existance of monopoles? (Physicists do not all believe there are such things as monopoles either, by the way.)
