Remember that great scene in Annie Hall where Diane Keaton and Woody Allen
are standing in line at a movie theater and some guy behind him is blabbing
about various film makers? Finally Woody has enough and pulls out the real
Marshall McLullen to take the guy down a peg. Woody ends the scene with
"Don't you wish you could do this in real life?"
That's what I wish I could do here, get a Ph.D. physicist to take this stuff
down a peg.
But ya know what, it won't matter. I can't change you mind about any of
this, cause it's all a religion and article of faith to you. This is why most
real scientists don't waste their time, they know better than to engage in
a losing battle.
And why should I worry? The only people you and Anterton will convince
are people who are already too gullible as it is, ready to fall for anyone who
even sounds like an authority on a subject. Sadly that's a good chunk of
the unwashed human race.
So I'll let it go. The worst that will happen is you will continue to feel both
vindicated and persecuted by the Mainstream Powers That Be and real
science will carry on to do truly meaningful things for humanity.
You think you are the next Galileo or Einstein. At least they had the virtue
of not only being right but being able to have their ideas tested again and
again to be proven right. Not a bunch of numbers and rhetoric.
