the media repeating a story invalidates it. You know Tom authors are individuals and often times they find themselves working on the same story through no planning or coordination. That they release their stories at different times seems pretty normal to me and, if the information seems the same, it just could be because those same facts were there to be found by all.

I recently posted a link to the shrinkage of the Arctic ice a month or so ago, not because I was trying to reinforce some idea that was already out there, but because the article contained a startling picture that I'd never seen before. Because it was a fascinating picture, I assumed the people on the board would be just as amazed with the image as I was.

I know my train of thought at the time and had no political agenda at all in deciding to post it, probably the same thing that went through McFly's mind when he posted the links he did. It's just fun to share sometimes in much the same way as how a movie is better if you don't go alone.

But you jumped on it with the same info you did today pointing out the expanding ice in the Antarctic. At the time you were actually non-confrontational about it and had you left it at that post we wouldn't be having a problem today but you showed your colors this morning.

By bringing up the expanding ice again in response to another post about the shrinking ice of the Arctic, you showed that your intent both times was not to inform but to jump on a post with the tiniest bit of potential for political advantage for the opposite side and do damage control. And then the icing on the cake was the stupid remark about the polar bears. Give me a break. Could you be any more transparent?
