"At this point they're mostly just repeating themselves. I noticed the record maxmimum sea ice in the Southern hemisphere this year has been completely shrugged off."

Ha ha. Nobody should care anymore about negative changes in ice at the North Pole because the ice is simply being redeposited at the South Pole. How could you be so stupid not to see this or care as much as I do about it. We should instead be celebrating now that Russia won't claim Antarctica.

"As for polar bears, if you look at the numbers, the most significant effect on their numbers every year is the hunting quota. If they're that worried, maybe they should tell people to stop shooting them."

Idiots. People are shooting polar bears so any worry you might have about their habitat going away is easily fixed by shooting less of them. Or maybe you mean, we won't have to worry if we simply shoot them all.

" The accurate satellite measurements of Arctic ice only go back to 1979, too. The time before that ("direct observation") gets a bit fuzzier. Same for "global" measurements.

Still doesn't explain why both hemispheres are going in opposite directions.

I'm not seeing a lot of "catastrophe" in the graph you linked to."

Even though you didn't mention catastrophe in your initial post, simply including a link to potentially problematic symptoms of climate change must mean you have a political agenda you're trying to push so I'll dust off the old global warming denier talking points to ensure you get no mileage out of this.
