Why billions. Why not thousands, millions or trillions.

Actually the billions was just a descriptive term. There probably are trillions upon trillions...countless in number.

Are there less "lost souls" than stars in this universe?
How many can dance on a pin head?

Indeed. There are probably far more that there are stars. The numbers fathom the imagination. Each will fill spectra within which they are closest associated.

Who could count them? What is needed before anyone could count them.
And assuming they would all "sit still" so you could count them, how many could you count before it got too boring for you? Or are you going count how many per cubic meter and times that by the total volume to get an average?

At a certain point folks can count via instantaneous communication with the objects they are interfacing. Like placing an object before an x-ray machine, the contents are displayed in a single exposure. We probably don't have a numerical designation high enough to be useful in counting. A googol of googols or some such description is probably as close as it gets.

This instantaneous communication or data transference occurs because these folks are now a larger component part of the universe than we are. We need to count individually, they just extend a thought which crosses and retrieve the data. But all folks at all levels will have limitations.

Well some people might be familiar with what a thought is, but again how do you count them?
Let's say you "meet" a thought, what can you know about it?
Is it the same thought you have met before? Is it connected to something- including to other thoughts?

Well here is where it gets even more complex, but as you asked I will try to explain. Each thought has a wave form structure. Say I think:

"This is going to be very difficult to explain."

That string of thought is composed of words and ideas. Each word and idea has a whole plethora of waveforms associated with it. "This","is", "going" etcetera each have their own waves and frequency as they relate to our own consciousness. When interlinked in a string they form a complete wavetrain - and this wavetrain is inextricably linked to all these other thoughts, experiences and ideas.

Each is a string of data but unlike coding, these strings by themselves have little meaning because they reflect and collect meaning & data from the rest of the universe!

This is why the term "field" is employed best to describe consciousness or a soul. These thoughts are so intricately interlinked at so many levels that they would appear visibly like one of these fractal images that Raoul linked to.

When one lives in an infinite universe each thought must possess a dual finite/infinite nature. So the thoughts of individuals are interlinked not only to experiences, but to concepts, places and other individuals.

If you meet "one" thought, maybe you just seeing a part of a thought, and/or maybe a thought or part of a thought changes appearances over time.

This is very true. The thought you are seeing or encountering is always interlinked and this thought, because it is eternal, does change with time as it regenerates. Let's look again at that fractal vortex:

Each thought keeps spurring new thoughts from of itself! It is regenerating and each thought is infinite unto itself. Each new thought has a link to a previous thought. And there is no limit to the number of thoughts that can be derived from the original. One can see how easily a single thought can spur forth a conversation, a novel or an entire lifetime worth of thought which is derived from the original thought.

What's more this new thought now changes it's fundamental frequency as it is weighted down in different directions by these interlinked regenerations of the original thought!

Here's an example. Say you collect coins. At first your collection consists of a broad general selection. Old coins, new coins and domestic and foreign coins. Then you purchase an early Greek coin, really like it, and now your collection goes off on a tangent as you seek out and collect only old Greek coins. The fundamental frequency of what "coin collecting" means to you has now changed - and will continue to change as it regenerates and evolves.

This is true of all our thoughts. Each is not stagnant or fixed - except when viewed frozen in time and space. When seen as a flow of energy the thought has an evolution of it's own and will spawn countless other threads of energy that find this common thought as their fundamental common denominator.

Maybe thought doesn't follow any of basic rules of this Universe. First being that you could "see it" in any way, but other things like being in one location in space-time, "following time" in any way we are familar with, etc.

If thought is energy, it has to follow the rules of the universe. It has to possess certain properties. Seeing thought is probably like seeing other things that are invisible to us, like radio transmissions or tv signals. They can probably be symbolically presented via devices similar to an oscilloscope or even the fractal viewer.

Or Maybe thoughts do generally follow the rules of this universe. Maybe you have thoughts that do follow the rules and other that don't.
Are there opposing thoughts, are they similar to humans in that they have tribes, or families, or homes, or money. Do space aliens have different thoughts.

Well let's look again, even closer at that fractal image and now let's imagine each vortex is really an entire person - or even a race of beings.

The people/alien races can be distingushed both by their place in time-space and via differing component wave forms.

Maybe thoughts are like the human population on the planet- they move a lot, but around half live in urban area. Some are born and live their life in some isolated village, others are travel and living all over the world.
Do they have wars, do they have leaders. Is it possible to kill an idea. Do thoughts get sick? Are there viruses- is thought a virus- in that it needs some kind host [such as a living animal]?

Lots of good questions. Many thoughts, as joined in ever larger fields, probably do look much like our society. They may try to absorb each the other, congregate together in various locations where other thoughts reside. And we must apply energy principles to these thoughts and fields. They are drawn together via frequency relationship. Like bees to honey, similar beings share similar fundamental traits and these link together. The arm of humanity and the sum of all thoughts that have been created while in a human body could create one are of one of these infinite fractal vortices. Each other arm might represent an alien species. Some where, some place and in some time there must be a common link which formed humanity and an infinite number of aliens similar to humanity.

There should also be offshoots further on down the line that are so distant and removed from humanity that we can't begin to understand them - other than the basic assumption that they are formed by energy as we are.

Even this thread as we discuss these things can be viewed in the same manner. The give and take between minds helps this vortex to grow and become that much more complex.
