The FireFox hand cursor bug
One of the great mysteries, to me anyway, about FireFox, is that from the very beginning it's never let you specify a hand cursor over an element. The hand cursor is what you get automatically over a link, but the specifications also say you can specify it over any element, like the thumbnails in the slideshow. Yet despite the FireFox development team's fanatic insistence on complying with the specs (to make Microsoft look bad), they've never fixed that bug.
Short answer: You can't have a hand cursor in FireFox except over links.
