I knew my statement set me up for derision and I was completely prepared for it. In a way I'd much rather be taken to task by someone I respect than the alternative.
You had every right to call me on it. It's what balanced people do. They take each issue individually and aren't swayed in their response by fondness for someone else's politics or eloquence. I'd nail you too if something you said got under my skin and then we'd have a beer and laugh about it. Ask Daren how that works.
