"Which selection best describes your approach?"

A. Chase the truth to the ground, and let the cards fall where they may.

I did that the first 10 years after my sighting/CE. The cards never fell.

B. Defend, at all cost, a mythology based upon anecdotal evidence.

It's not a mythology, it was am personal experience corroborated by many other similiar sightings from that time frame investigated by Project Blue Book.

C. Change the paradigm of acrimonious bickering, and elevate the discussion to reasonable debate by adopting rigorous scientific methodology. (Dr. J. Allen Hynek would be a good model)

Of course it's C. I even met J. Allen Hynek and gave him what evidence I had. However, the ufo field has devolved into a nasty shouting match. I pretty much got out of it after watching researchers pick each other apart (much like our Presidential candidates are doing today). I still work with the same doctors, scientists and engineers I have worked with for the past 15-20 years now. We all do back door research. Some publish. Some do not.

D. Shut up and go to hell.

Where does that come from? I'm nice if you're nice. I'm nice even if you're ignorant. But if you start insulting me personally from ignorance, then we have a problem. I have no idea who you are. I share some of my knowledge here, similiar to throwing crumbs out to the birds. You can come by regularly for the crumbs, you can shit on my porch, you can complain there are no sunflower seeds with the crumbs, or you can all talk between yourselves that the lady putting out the crumbs for the birds is completely daft.
Then I can say, I don't really don't give a rat's ass, because all you're getting is crumbs.
Does any of this answer your questions?
