I really took that picture.

I took it around 1984 when I was really into photography. I took a piece of a headphone and shined a small flashlight through it up onto my dark bedroom ceiling. Then I snapped a picture

I later took that picture's negative and another from a background and merged the two together in a darkroom. It looked pretty darn real, but I couldn’t keep a straight face when showing it to people. I wish I could find that one.

This one took a little more work. I build a model out of spare electronic parts. I then unraveled a thread about 4 times and used that very thin piece to hang the model from the edge of the patio cover. I then got back to where the background and the model were both in focus.
