Seeing as you took back the "superior" part, let me explain a litle further. I've spent 30 years with various experts who've studied every angle of this phenomena. Tenured professors, scientists, engineers, psychiatrists and authors who have fully investigated some of the most well known cases and it's peoples.
It's not truth, but knowledge. It doesn't make me feel superior, just more knowledgeable. But people do come to me in ignorance, mostly here. Ignorance means "a lack of knowledge." (Wikipedia). And trying to explain anything by back and forth writing becomes complicated and is often taken out of context.

Some people are more inclined to have open minds about different things. In my family, it's 50/50. In others, it's 75/25 or even 90/10.
Have you ever asked your wife WHY she believes as she does? Did she have an event that started it? Maybe some are just born that way. I never gave much of it any thought until my sighting, which was an abrupt shock to both me AND my neighbours. It could have been an experiment of some sort as a mlitary base was 75 miles north of us, but it's impact was dramatic. If I could prove it WAS an experiement, then maybe I'd sue them for harassment after all these years. Most of it has been unpleasant. Especially it's social fallout as far as regular people are concerned as they treat me different if I chose to tell them (so mostly I don't). What investigation has done for me......is it has lead me into exactly the same type of cases with a wide range of witnesses in various locations over the yeas, all with the same anecdotal material, drawings, recordings and some of which the hard sciences could study. THAT was my saving grace.
