Okay, now it's getting weird.
I know you live in the U.S. I don't get it.
I have never in my life felt like I was in some "class" or other. If we're talking money, and I guess we must be, my income has ranged from poverty to six figures, and everywhere in between. It's gone up, and it's gone down. I've worked for many different companies, and been self-employed, like now.
At no time did I get the idea that I was fixed or trapped into a particular place in society or level of income, or, within reason, prevented from going where I wanted. Setbacks were just setbacks, and I never believed I would be stopped from succeeding again.
This has got to be a perception thing. I'm honestly stumped.
