Hi

David Brin's "Kil'n People" featured many of the "Dittoes" engaged in high-risk activities, frequently getting killed. One motto was "Partying so hard that the copy doesn't come back" (for reintegration of memories.)

Blood sports - with body duplication - would stop being wasteful of human life, and merely be expensive. Province of the rich? Real Celebrity Death-Matches?
