was this mess worth the huge cost in human lives, international standing....? Please tell us, we know you would howl if we proposed spending that much money in any effort to actually help people, so why cant we ask you to justify the terrible cost to get into this mess...

The surge really isnt the issue, everyone knows and freely admits it is temporary. Is there any way you rationalize this mess as being worth the cost?
