I asked this of one of my Mom of three school age children friends:
"Ok so I took sometime to think about this and my thoughts on it is this. I am honestly of 2 minds on this as I want my children to learn about sexuality from us but I also realize that if you look at the role models out there now without telling a person about their sexuality how will children ever realize that gay people are like everyone else. Gay history is important like black history or woman's rights as it shows our civil rights fight for equality for all. I don't agree with talking to children about sexuality as sexuality I think that is a parent's job unfortunately so many parents don't do their jobs."
