The point was the poll numbers. 55 percent of Americans think abortion should be legal if the child will be born mentally or physically impaired. 38 percent of respondents said abortion in the third trimester should be legal in those circumstances. The article I linked to has problems with these views, but that isn't my point.

Are those Americans in the poll "Nazis?" Why or why not? Would aborting someone because of their future sexual orientation be any worse? Heck, there are people aborting children because they're inconvenient, or they can't afford to raise them. To many people the right to do this at will is all-important. "Nazis" or not?

I'm aware Sarah Palin would have a problem with aborting the disabled. But to a good liberal, her views are blasphemy. So where does it go from here?
