Oil fields secure. Saddam ousted/dead. No WMD potential. Oil pumping & boarding ships and headed to the USA.
Mission accomplished. Period.
That's all Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld & Condi wanted and that's what they accomplished.
Shiite/Sunni/Kurd/Sadr and casualty counting drama is for the liberals & rubes who seem to forget that 3rd world nations always remain 3rd world nations because the people in those nations are too ignorant to qualify for anything else. You can drop the US of A in their lap with full democracy, freedom and gender equality and they will crawl back to their barbarism, prejudices and theocracy which is a far better mental fit. Those hundreds of thousands who had the mental equipment to understand their good fortune are now freed of Saddam, living elsewhere, quietly blessing the USA and not giving interviews.
Sorry to be so un-PC but simple honesty is worth a thousand overworked analysis articles by the left.
