Don't think they were not paying attention when they saw the guys who built the foundations for the things that define their world thrown aside, outsourced and downsized. They know that they owe no boss nothing more than x hours a week. They're starting with the lessons it took several '2 boxes on your desk and a security guard escort to the front desk' experience for the 'downsized' folks of my generation to learn.
Frankly, if the old farts bitch and whine and blow on about how 'kids these days don't want to work hard', I just chuckle.
