I remember my first job at a local pizza place in 1984 making $3.35. I was excited when I got a 10 cent raise and wasn’t making minimum wage anymore.
It took me all summer to raise enough money for my first car. It was a hunk of junk, but it was mine and I kept it running. I learned a lot about cars working on it.
