Fired a librarian for not removing books she (Palin) didn't like.
"Palin has also recently come under fire for dismissing a librarian while she was mayor of Wasilla in 1996. The librarian lost her jobs after telling Palin she would not remove books if the mayor deemed them offensive."
Has no doubt that she's ready to be president. Frankly, I keep thinking this is a bad dream. I'll wake up and McCain has picked Lynn Cheney, or Mary Matalin, or Elizabeth Dole. Something a little brighter than a "pit bull with lipstick", Palin's self-description. She seems to combine the worst of Cheney and Huckabee. She IS one helluva lot brighter that GWB, though.
