So much fear smothered in bile, hate and prejudice, just like that hysterical reporters diatribe. The atmosphere of personal unhappiness here is so thick one could bottle it and sell it as roach fumigant.
Is life really that miserable?
Palin isn't the problem folks. The problem with America is the new group who is so attracted to hate in any form. Hate Bush. Hate Cheney. Hate the Oil Companies. Hate CEOs. Wait, new target...
hate McSame....
no...wait...
new target....hate Palin.
And it will go on and on - for the rest of your days. Hate, bitterness, resentment. Your "joy" will come from seeing other spew even more hate. Thats why many folks here like Olbermann, Stewart, Letterman and all the rest and why on the other side of the aisle they like Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Coulter and the other conservative manipulators of hate.
Sure, the RNC knows the demographic too. "Those dumb DNC peasants and freaks hate you because you have two dollars to rub together. Hate those idiots back! Hate those brainless, unaccomplished leeches on the fabric of society!"
Well here's the newsflash: Olbermann and O'Reilly make big bucks exploiting folks hate. They are paid by YOU. Yes, YOU pay them. Not only do you watch them and fund their sponsors with your purchases, but you pay them when you embrace hate. They couldn't survive a minute in a society of true goodwill and genuine brotherhood. There would be no market for the Jon Stewarts of the world who crawl out of the gutter and spew hate in every direction.
Oh sure...but it's so funny!
Hate is never funny. Humor is the sugar coating of the poison. They swallow it up that much faster when it is so sugar coated and so they can't figure out why they feel positively miserable and more unhappy about life when the "comedy" is over.
The entertainment industry makes money out of exploiting people's fears and emotions. Hate and violence are number one revenue makers, whether it be video games, films or television - these two top the charts consistently because society is now demographically top-heavy with folks who are programmed to respond favorably to "justified hate" by 1/3 of their live involved in unreal and fictitious mental pacification.
That's the difference. That's why the US economy is tanked. That's why folks are overweight, drunk or on drugs. That's why kids use the f-word starting in first grade because they here their parents use it all the time. They have yet to lift the yoke of programmed emotional responses that has wasted much of their lives and totally atrophied the ability to be constructive.
How did Dubai build a better skyline than New York in 5 years? Why is the WTC still just a hole in the ground? Why has each US election season for the past 10 years really been just a disguised excuse for manipulating minds for a year and filling them with new levels of hate?
Because the US and its populace is no longer constructive.
Industriousness is the blessing for those who can see good where others can't and accomplishment is for those who do not dwell on negatives.
So much time wasted on hate.
None of you are any worse than 95 percent of the rest of America doing the same thing unknowingly - defeating their own ability to be positive and constructive.
Try to fight it next time. Think about this lengthy sanctimonious diatribe the next time you watch a show or read an article that incites hatred. Look at the audience and watch them laugh in response to the hate like programmed robots.
Your mind. Your destiny. Your choice.
