Very interesting discovery. Findings like this make me wonder if Earth life could have migrated, say via impacts even to the moons of the Giant planets. If there is any alien life ever found in the solar system, only if it works markedly differently from Earth DNA can we multiple sites of origin be likely.

Amazing that the space age is over 50 years old and we as yet have NO confirming evidence of extraterrestrial life, anywhere. Who'd a thunk it back in '57?
