Did Anybody Read The article?

The Article states the Microbe is close to teh trunk on teh tree of life and lends support to the deep origin hypothesis. The fact that it appears to have borrowed some genes from others does not mean life on Mars could not have evolved those genes itself as conditions worsened. If they evolved on Earth they could obviously evolve elsewhere once life originated there.
