Space/Science » in reply to Looks Like Mars Is Most Likely Habitable

Positing preconditions and precursors.

I'm delighted they found this critter who can live in extreme conditions. And I hope something like that is found on Mars.

I'm wondering, though, if the chain of events and conditions over a long time period in a precise time sequence would have occurred on Mars. This robust creature seems to be at the end of a fragile chain.

The way things are changing I know I'll never find out, and I doubt anyone living will ever know for sure but it's a nice hope made more reasonable.
