And yet, there are no demands for the upper management types to give up their benefits, pensions, or high income. Instead, let's take pensions and medical care from elderly people, especially since they've lost their shirts in the stock market... It's so easy for one guy to vote to take another's benefits away. How are the older folks supposed to make up for these losses? Maybe, McDonald's will hire them, but that $7/hr. would not begin to pay for health insurance for a senior citizen. Would these young people complaining about retirement benefits, prefer to take Mom and Dad in, and take care of them? Somehow, I think not!
