Actually very impressive
if they extend to all the workers. It'd be interesting to be able to see the entire company structure including management pay and benefits as well.
The Japanese have always been good at preventing too wide a separation between the highest and lowest paid workers in their plants. CEO's are not put on a pedestal there as they are here and work their asses off if they want compensation.
It's very likely my next car will be a Toyota. We have a Rav4 right now that we love and my old Saturn station wagon is up to 140,000 miles. I'm dying to get into something new with awesome mileage. A Prius would be at the top of the list.
