Zubrin's plan has many issues in that a lot of what he proposes has not been tested so it can't be confirmed as workable. It is however in a far higher state of readiness than missions to the Moon were when Kennedy commited to it. There are also major disagreements between Zubrin and others on crew size which inherently result in very different engineering requirements. Zubrin's goal was to establish a realistic path forward which NASA validated by switching to a design much closer to his than the 90 day plan. Zubrin has always expected complete design, testing, and construction to take another 10 years from commitment as anyone who has ever bothered to really investigate his plans would know. I have no doubt this "subtlety" may be beyond your grasp of engineering and word of mouth evaluation of Zubrin's plans.
The challenge which you keep avoiding still stands. Pick a number of Zubrin's you disagree with and show how a more accurate number has been calculated by someone else. I'll be more than happy to review the math.
