NEO colonies should be where we go next
Lots of resources that are much easier to get at and transport than on
any major moon or planet. Plus you can turn them into L-5 colonies
and interstellar arks.
Setting up on the planetoids and comets can be a means to its own
end, but they will and should also be stepping stones to colonies on
the larger worlds eventually.
Or is it better to life in an entirely artificial colony not attached to any
one natural celestial body and just make trips to NEOs for resources?
