Remarkable.

If you listen to the narrative of the Left in recent times, you'd think nothing whatsoever happened in 2001.

It's all about "pursuing one's fortune."

Some time ago I went over what was done in our country during WWII, how freedoms were curtailed, censorship laid on, an entire ethnic group imprisoned, and many other things. We are comparing this to...what? Having overseas phone calls tracked? Violations of the Constitution that have been, for the most part, imaginary? Has the U.S. ever engaged in a war where the government interfered so little with civilian life?

We've already been over Democrats desperately covering their own asses in issues like interrogation methods, authorization to go to war, etc. I imagine most of them did a good job of this in interviews for the book.
