I've been reading up on SpaceX.

They have a rocket in development called Falcon 9 Heavy.
From what I've read elsewhere I've learned that that rocket is capable of sending a manned orbiter to the Moon.

Could that lunar-orbiter be a modified Dragon crewed spacecraft?
If SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 Heavy by 2012, could SpaceX send
a crew to orbit the Moon before 2016?
Perhaps amoung the crew will be a paying adventurous billionaire.

If so, if it happens that way, then NASA could end up being humiliated by such a relatively small company.
