So much right and so much wrong

" And I certainly have no need to enrich myself at the expense of others. Business is not always a zero-sum game."

Sad you cannot see the contradiction in this comment. Of course business is not a zero sum game. That is a fundamental principle of economics. Consider this: You are proud you never profited from another man's labor, but you are happy and comfortable with your life having sold yours. That's because someone profiting from your labor wasn't really at your expense. You don't feel exploited because selling your skills made your life better, more fulfilled and meaningful. You made a happy life for yourself selling your labor. But you can't see that another man could have had an equally happy life selling his labor to you? That you would have made his life better as your employers made yours better, and not somehow exploited him?

I too am not wealthy and have everything I need and a little more. The home is paid off. I have no mortage. I have no debt, just modest monthly bills. My retirement fund is certainly adequate although I'm not yet retired. And I too have sold my labor and created a happy life for myself. I don't feel exploited either.
