The entire post I responded to was founded on the premise that this "management class" you were talking about was Republican/conservative/rightist, despite throwing the bone of "without making any value judgments."
After all, there is no other way you could conclude that the "leftist conspiracy" was the result of this group's actions and have your post make any sense at all.
I responded by pointing out who was making the most "conspiracy" noises in the mainstream media and among our leaders, and who they were making the noises about.
Of course there's an ideological battle going on in this country. It's between two distinct views of the nature of society, the role of government and citizens, and the nature of rights. To recognize this does not require a "conspiracy," a word that you have reduced to an overused and meaningless noise.
