Well, I guess you won't have any excuses not to start writing more books, will you?
That's what I'm doing, although I consider myself more "on furlough" than retired. You can write until you keel over, and do it on your own schedule, which is one advantage to that career.
BTW, Social Security and Medicare are trashing themselves. Inherent in the concept. If it were Democrats in charge for the next hundred years, that wouldn't change.
