I hope it works out for you and Eri as it has for me. I have been fully retired for 5 years and it has been great.
Recent times and events have moved me to prepare for bad things. I have increased our family security substantially and we could survive nearly anything for 6-12 months.
I am optimistic that we will not have a social collapse but not so much as I once was.
