Just "a good technician?" Now THAT'S a load of horseshit. I've read your writing, including outside this board, and it's damn good. "Inspiration" is a matter of sitting your arse down and not getting up until you've cranked out twenty pages. Every day. Or ten.
Sounds like what you need right now is a year in the Bahamas. Things would look better.
