I appreciate your encouragement. I must confess I know I am heading for a very different life than the one I've led so far, and change is always scary. But I also realize this change is one that is, to a very great extent, being forced on me, not totally voluntary. I consider myself very fortunate I have the resources available to give me freedom of choice. Most of my colleagues do not.
As for the social collapse, I wouldn't worry too much about that. It's the social disease you need to be wary of.😁
