Well, I'm not "Bucky", but you replied to my post, so I'll take umbrage.

Of course I remember when four teenage kids were shot down by National Guardsmen for throwing rocks. Do you remember 9/11? Don't know how old you are, but if you were alive at the time, it's appropriate to ask if you remember when Martin Luther King was shot, or Bobby Kennedy, or JFK. Where were you on the day that Timothy McVeigh murdered 168 office workers in Oklahoma City? All those events happened more than ten years ago (well, OK, 9/11 is just short of ten years now).

The fact that "people today" have the attention span of gnats hardly reflects poorly on me. People who can't remember events of 10 years ago, if they've entered puberty by now, are idiots. And doomed to repeat the history they can't remember, or never knew.

Which one of us is really more likely to burn in hell, I wonder?
