I'm afraid you're right. It's gotten so bad, I've tuned out conservatives totally.

I've been watching the West Wing reruns and there was a Republican lawyer they hired (played by Emily Proctor) and I find myself listening to her and finding much of value. But whenever I listen to Conservatives today, I find nothing of value whatsoever.

In Missouri, the Republican legislature just passed a law (which I hope our Governor vetoes) closing strip bars at midnight (they're now allowed to stay open until 3:00 a.m.) which has the strip bar employees panicked because some will lose their jobs and those that keep them will earn less money. So in a time when the economy has gone down the drain and unemployment is high, these assholes are putting more people out of work and lowering incomes for people trying to raise families. All in the name of some prudish puritanical wimpass religious principles. God save us from asshole Republicans. I still remember Ashcroft covering naked statues in the DOJ building. Prim Prude limpdick lickshits. They'd be laughable if they weren't so dangerous.
