I think you missed the whole point. Look at the chart in my earlier post. Corporate profits are steadily rising while the economy is suffering unemployment and deficit spending, does this not suggest a correlation? The corporate sector is profiting from a sluggish economy. What possible incentive could they have to turn it around?
In spite of this unprecedented orgy of accumulation, the fat cats still think their taxes are too high while benefits for the unemployed and stimulus for the economy should be cut. And then they expect us to believe their profits and tax savings will be invested in the economy, not pissed away in get-rich-quick Wall Street schemes like the last time. These people are intolerable.
The goose that laid the golden egg is the American worker, not the vampires and middlemen that parasitize them.

- "correlation"
- Not over there.
- ...so would it be a logical conclusion...
- I am keeping it in mind...
- And keep in mind...
- You have it backwards.
- We already subsidize food.
- It's not sticking with me, either.
- Isn't that how it is with anything?
- More news from the NHS
- That's not really a fair conclusion, Eri...
- Have they?
- Health insurers' profits have gone up.
- Not downward. Outward.
- Love in wartime
- The doctors will have to hire more staff.
