Good question mon ami....and I can not answer that. I know I could google or bing it, but what would be the use of these boards then?
On a more personal note, I think the entire curriculum needs to be completely overhauled. Conservatives probably want back to basics, which to me becomes redundant after about the first year in high school. Preparing children to be college bound is great for those who know what they want. In NY State back in the 70's we had an automotive class...woodworking class, and BOCES, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Board_of_Cooperative_Educational_Services
When my son graduated in '02 the valedictorian had a ridiculous GPA of 122...one could get extra credit for going and getting donuts for the teacher.
This subject also rings with Eri's topic on the younger generation and entitlement.
Any suggestions yourself?
I wish I was innovative so I could throw you some awe inspiring ideas...but I am better at knowing what doesn't work...and there needs to be a change...
