I can see it now...
Any state which develops some form of public health insurance will likely see a large growth in it's population over a sustained period of time. This will increase state healthcare costs but it will also grow the overall state economy and tax base. Likely a high percentage of people on the move will be sick people.
Will we have "sick states" and "healthy states"??
